For more than 62 years, we have been offering our patrons a sense of belonging, trustworthy enduring personalised care and exceptional hospitality with integrity.
The founders, the Advani Brothers' forte was the Real Estate business. The Shalimar Hotel was originally constructed as an apartment block with few commercial spaces and the family spontaneously thought of converting and launching the building into a Hotel. The Swinging Sixties brought with them inspirational energy of the cosmopolitan culture of spirited dives. Today the Hotel exemplifies that very mantra of nifty dynamism and remains a prominent paragon of hospitality on the South Mumbai city-scape.
The Hotel's proactive logo of a bud with a tagline ‘Things only get better…' is about nurturing transformation of acclaim with the optimistic color palette of Yellow and Tangerine. The logo mirrors the fervent faith in growth, progress, vitality and ingenuity.
